Job Description

Position : Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Senior SDET).

 

Experience: 5+ Years

 

Senior SDET with 5+ years of work experience. You will Automate & Test, frontend components & applications that are sub-components of SaaS products and maintain highly scalable systems and contribute to all aspects of the software development cycle. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack Automation developer with strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, proactive and self-motivated mindset, and ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and demanding environment.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

• Test & Automate highly scalable, 24/7 consumer internet applications deployed in cloud.

 

• Work independently completing small to large sized projects while managing competing priorities in a demanding production environment.

 

• Deliver on projects from end to end (documentation to production grade code to support procedures) while functioning within the process and disciplines established in the Engineering QA team.

 

• Work collaboratively among groups within engineering (Database Administration, and Production Ops) and outside engineering (Product Manager, Marketing Team) to drive allocated projects to completion.

 

• Actively participate in high level engineering team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations.

• Provides leadership and direction in the design and development of Automation Framework for web-based applications + Back End Services.

• Helps others to meet or exceed standards for the quality and timeliness of the work products that they create (e.g., automated tests, test plans and cases etc.)

• Fosters learning and growth for group members through advice, guidance and mentoring, and creates and/or delegates challenging assignments to help individuals advance their careers; often leads team when needed, and may as Manager in times of managerial absence

• Keeps technically abreast of trends and advancements related to LogMeIn products incorporating these improvements into the overall testing process and anticipating their application in future projects; actively supports others to increase technical knowledge through research, training and peer support

 

Skills :

1)Web based (React, Redux, ReactNative components) test automation.

2) Java.

3)API testing skills.

4) Load/Performance/Security testing skills.

5)Hand’s-on experience with AWS technologies.

6)Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Development model would be an added advantage.
