• Passionate about QA being able to drive process improvements for time-to-market

• Expertise in designing and developing automation framework using Python

• Hands-on automation for end to end testing including back-end or front-end applications.

• Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment

• Comfortable with Selenium, Gherkins / Cucumber frameworks

• Experienced in SQL, and working with SQL/No-SQL databases (Sybase, Mongo)

• Ability to use a wide variety of open source and in house technologies and tools, that are DevOps enablers such as Docker, Maven, Jenkins, GiTHub etc.

• Proficiency at programming languages such as Python and Java

• Should take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis, where required. Should own the quality and timeliness of delivery

• Collaborate with Developers, Business and multiple global stakeholders to drive QA agenda & standards by engaging with them throughout the SDLC

• Communicate key issues and progress updates in a regular, accurate, timely fashion

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience of 4-7 years working in an agile dev environment with strong background in QA Methodologies.
• Proficiency at using programming language such as Python, Java for automation.
• Proficiency at DevOps enablers such as Docker, Maven, Jenkins, GiTHub etc.
• Experience of test management tools (ALM preferred) and test automation tools/frameworks – TDD/BDD, Selenium, Gherkins etc.
• Very good communication and presentation skills
