Full-Time Automation Software Tester

Job Description

P3S is looking for a strategic, experienced Automation Software Tester in San Antonio, Texas to provide Weapon System (WS) sustainment and integration services to include incremental delivery, deployment of new capabilities, and responsive Tier 3 support for the Cyber Command & Control Mission System (C3MS) WS. The C3MS WS enables offensive and defensive cyberspace operations, spanning multiple service component networks to provide continuous real-time situational awareness (SA) including network status, infrastructure vulnerabilities, systems interoperability, asset utilization, activity and event data, and intelligence information.

Special Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field Required
    • Security Clearance eligible

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins to build and test automated software
  • Conduct peer reviews to provide feedback and improvements where applicable to ensure ease of use and scalability
  • Experience with the use of Cucumber BDD automation methodology
  • 1 – 3 years professional automation testing experience beyond record and playback
  • 1 year of experience with Automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Test Complete, etc
  • Experience with the use and development of API with tools such as Postman
  • Knowledge and experience working within Eclipse IDE
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in the use of programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience working in Windows and Linux environment
  • Experience using issue and project tracking software such as JIRA
  • Experience working in an agile structure
  • Participate in daily scrum to report on progress on tasks
  • Involvement in the product management cycle to ensure backlog items are detailed and staged for upcoming sprints
  • Involvement in the selection process for upcoming sprints based on previous dependencies and the need of customer requirements
  • Plan and accurately track test estimates for projects
  • Determine the testability of user stories
  • Write automated tests based on stories selected for each sprint
  • Familiarity with the use of version control implementations such as Git
